Bf throws up all the time.. ????

Okay, for like the past 2 years my bf has thrown up nearly once a day everyday, last year he was diagnosed with 5 stomach ulcers and they have now cleared up (hes had an endoscopy to make sure), he is only 19 which is the odd thing about it too. Now, hes tonsils are ALWAYS up really big and hes on a waiting list to get them removed, he also smokes marijuana everyday (he aknowleges he has an addiction there and has been seeking help to stop) im just wondering what could be up with him, why would he throw up everyday, its never food its either bile or saliva? Any ideas. Thanks heaps.
