Severe Anaemia - 36+5 days pregnant. Has anyone else had this, if so what happened? repost - no answers.?

Hi all. Just returned home from my midwife appointment. My iron has not been the best this pregnancy, well actually I have always had problems (injections + tablets etc). She told me I am almost at the critical stage which would require a blood transfusion. I am going to be getting more bloods done so we can monitor my iron levels. She also said they may need to induce and that I may need to stay in hospital for longer after the baby is born as I may need a transfusion. Has anyone else had this problem? I just want to do what is best for my baby.
