Can someple plese tell me what they'd do in this situation? Thanks.?

first STOP... breath in .. breath out .. poor you there's quite a bit of stress going on .. If I were you , I would examine why I wanted my mom with me and now I want just my husband and I and our lovely baby .. I think its just possible that you are so upset that you are looking beyond the obvious reason for your mom not calling today .. and that is that she is complying with your wishes to let you be... perhaps she is feeling badly that she was so excited ? Communication is the answer ... be honest with yourself first , if you invited mom because you wanted to give her that gift , do you really want to take it from her ? or did you just want the madness to end ? The latter would be my guess.. I also wonder if you have too many folks invited to be there too soon and this seems like just more icing on the cake ?
