Dating is irrational, so why do teenagers do it?

Well I have thought a lot of the same things before, and yeah a lot of people aren't doing it for the right reasons but it also kind of helps you to be able to date when your older, like it gives you the confidence and experience because if your 30 and have never dated anyone your going to have some troubles....But i definitely see what you mean, maybe don;t be so harsh, I always said the same stuff until i met this one guy, and it kills me to because i hate going back on my word lol i was like 'I'll never date some stupid guy when im a teenager, it's pointless your not getting married at 15' but of course i met this guy and I'm not saying I'm marrying him or anything buuuutt, it changes when you really like someone i don't think there is anything wrong with dating if you have all the right reasons and don't get lost in it
