How noisy is a braille display?

I'm writing a novel that utilizes a portable braille display (like the Esys 12 - http://www.sightandsound.co.uk/shop/products.php?product=Esys-12-Braille-Display), just wondering how much noise it makes? Is there an audible mechanical noise?
