Military Spouse's and Parent's: Did your children ever forget your SO?

My husband is in the Navy and was either out to sea or on deployment a full year out of the first 2 of my daughter's life. She didn't forget him. :) Just keep pictures around and show them to your son as much as you can reffering to him as daddy. Your son will remember him. :) You can even have your husband tape himself reading some stories or talking to your son so that he has something to watch of your husband. This technique was very helpful and nice for me and my daughter to watch while my husband was gone.
