What is there to do in Los Angeles?

Im from CA. Born and raised in San Diego. Ive been to LA, and surrounding areas a lot, but, to go to specific places, or events (disneyland, concerts, shows, etc.) I want to go...just to go. My kids, and grandkids have never been, and I want to take them. Anyone have any suggestions on things to do, that are kid friendly for the most part?
